Galerie Peirce has frequently been called ?the friendly gallery in Paris, and, staffed by an Anglo-Saxon family that has lived in France for over 35 years, is particularly well placed to provide services to non-French speakers in the complex French art market. We are aware of the difficulties encountered by foreigners in this beautiful country, but sufficiently familiar with the ways and mores of the country to function as though at home.

Furthermore, when we started the gallery, we adopted the slogan if we don't have it, we can find it. The gallery presents a wide range of works from the 19^th and 20^th centuries, in all techniques, together with some contemporary works. However, if you do not find in the gallery what you are looking for, we can look for it for you. This refers to both works of art themselves and to expertise ; if we do not have the expertise in the gallery to provide the service you require, we will mobilise an active network of co-experts in the specific field required.

We provide a variety of services from appraisal of art works, to assistance in sales and assistance in purchase. Our experience and analytical tools available enable us to analyse the market, and our familiarity with the market in its various forms enables us to propose the best place and time for both sale and purchase of works.

Please note that we are permanently on the look out for collections that families would like to sell. We generally handle these collections by a mixture of direct sale from the gallery through specific exhibitions (or in Art fairs) and sale to the market (through other merchants and through auction houses), adapting our approach to the works of art concerned and to the needs of the seller.
